The maid was working in the victim's house since last few years.
Three months ago, the maid told the victim that she had recorded of their physical relationship in a CD and will file a rape case against him. The maid informed the victim's wife too about it to put more pressure on the family. The wife got cardiac arrest after she learnt about it and was admitted into a hospital.
The police claimed that the victim family decided to pay the maid to ensure that she should not harm their reputation. They paid Rs 3 lakh and asked the maid not to trouble them again.
Recently, the maid again approached the family stating that she need more money. She told the family that she still had original copy of the CD in which she recorded their intimate relationship while she was working in his house. She demanded Rs 1 lakh in exchange and threatened to file a rape case against the employer and his son if they failed to fulfill her demand. The family discussed the issue and decided to approach the police for help.
