Central Railway services disrupted due to derailment

MUMBAI: Suburban train services on Central Railway were disrupted after derailment of a Titwala local at Dombivali station on Tuesday afternoon.

CR trains are running late by 15 to 20 minutes because of the incident that happened at 11.45am.

CR's chief public relations officer Narendra Patil said, "The compartment at the guard cabin's end derailed. However, nobody was injured."

The CST-bound track was opened for traffic at 11.55 am but Kalyan-bound services were diverted on fast track from Diva as rerailment operation was underway on down slow track.
