Shah Rukh Khan's security beefed up after reports of threat from gangster

MUMBAI: The Mumbai police on Tuesday confirmed reports that security for actor Shah Rukh Khan had been beefed up following threats from the underworld.

Four rounds were fired outside Bollywood producer Karim Morani's Juhu residence recently. According to reports, a note was found at the site which allegedly said 'SRK will be the next target'.

The actor already has security cover which has now been heightened.

Police suspect gangster Ravi Pujari is behind the threat.
