Sheva police officials have informed that the jawan, whose first name is stated to be Saida, had reportedly called up his CISF security control room at JNPT at 5.45am stating that some persons were aggressively coming towards him to beat him up. After that his mobile phone went in the switched-off mode and he also physically went missing.
''The CISF jawan reportedly began his morning duty at 5am at the watchtower which is located just outside the JNPT precincts. At 5.45am he called up his security control room seeking immediate help as four men were reportedly moving towards him to beat him up. However, when the additional security guards rushed to the watch tower, he was missing from his post,'' said the assistant commissioner of police, Shashikant Borate.
Further investigation is on by Sheva police to trace the missing CISF jawan who had recently joined duty at the JNPT area.
