Mercedes driver who killed biker in south Mumbai accident held

MUMBAI: The son of a Mumbai-based builder, who allegedly mowed down a biker on Thursday night with his luxury car, was arrested late on Friday. The accused, Kunal Vardhan (25), was produced in court on Saturday and realeased on bail of Rs 20,000.

The mishap occurred on Thursday around 11.30 pm near Trident Hotel on Marine Drive. The victim, Mayur Kadam, was on his bike, when Vardhan, who was driving his Mercedes, rammed into the bike. Kadam died in hospital the following day.
