MUMBAI: This could be good news for passengers. The Konkan Railway has decided to temporarily augment train no. 12051/12052 Dadar - Madgaon - Dadar Janshatabdi Express to clear extra rush of passengers to Goa.
Said KR chief spokesperson Vaishali Patange: "One additional second class chair car coach will be attached to Janshatabdi Express till June 4. This will help us clear the waiting list of passengers. There is a huge demand for this train during the summer vacation period."
It has also been decided to run additional trips of train no. 06314 / 06313 Trivandrum - Nizamuddin - Trivandrum Premium Superfast special trains on the same timings and path. "The train would run ex-Trivandrum on Saturday — from June 7 to 28 and ex-Nizamuddin on Monday from June 9 to 30,'' she stated.
"Passengers should take benefit of the additional trips and the addition of a new coach,'' she added.
