MUMBAI: The BMC will investigate the claims of residents that the Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Vishwavidyalaya, a trust that was appointed as a caretaker of a Ghatkopar ground, violated lease norms.
A 14-year-old boy was detained on Sunday and a criminal trespassing complaint was filed against the teen who entered a portion of the ground, that the trust has earmarked for its members.
Meanwhile, the police will investigate the cross-complaints lodged by the trust and the boy's parents. "The matter was given a political colour by some parties," said a cop.
