MUMBAI: In politics there are no permanent friends and no permanent enemies. MNS chief Raj Thackeray and senior Congress leader Narayan Rane were very close when the two were in the Shiv Sena. Now the two seem to be turning in to each other. An angry Rane has slammed Thackeray for alleging that the former was involved in land grabs in Konkan. Writing in his publication 'Prahaar' Rane has asked the MNS chief to first seek proper information and only then talk henceforth. The Congress minister has said that the allegations were totally baseless as he had not usurped anyone's land.
Raj had fired the first salvo against Rane during a rally at Khed in Konkan held last week. In his speech Thackeray had accused Rane of indulging in land grabs.
